Amy's Blog Zone — creative

I'm becoming obsessed with HTML and diving deep into the inner workings of websites. This is something I've always wanted to do, but there was always something else that had to be done first. Now that I am the age I am, having had the experiences I've had and being where I am now, I can finally do this for myself. I can create a magic storm out of nothing but my own willpower and creativity, using tools made by fellow artists and architects of code. It feels like driving a car, like it's complicated and challenging but totally possible...

My heart goes out to the people in their homes nearby who have had to evacuate because of the fires. I'd be frightened and annoyed. I don't know how the fires started, but in my poem it was an errant ember from some anonymous smoker driving down the highway.
